Blake Tupman

Blake Tupman is an Illustrator, Sculptor, Tattoo Artist, and Fashion Designer from Portland Oregon who is passionate about spreading joy and embracing softness. Through his use of pastel colors, soft edges, and specific use of line he evokes feelings of comfort as well as approachability within his work. It is in this way that Blake's work provides an opportunity for viewers/wearers to approach difficult emotional topics in a comforting way.

Blake spends most of his free time making clothing and plushies, tattooing, and cycling Portland's many bike routes.

Blake’s artistic practice explores connections and emotional growth both conceptually through material and shape design as well as physically through tattoo. His artistic goal is to spread as much joy as possible into the world and encourage people from all walks of life to embrace their feelings.

Blake’s work often focuses on themes of connection and emotion. He loves creating work that can be held, used, or worn such as ceramics, clothing, accessories, or home goods. Blake also has a passion for character creation, each of his characters hold a special place in his heart and he hope that they can do the same for you too!
